Soon Your Car Will Be Able to Order Pizza

If this finally happens, you won’t even need your phone to order your favorite Hungry Howie’s® pizza. Several pizza chains are working with app-development companies and car engineers to brainstorm a way to incorporate a pizza-ordering app into your car. Imagine this: you're driving home from work and through your car’s app and a few clicks later, you can have your piping hot pizza started, so it’ll arrive home when you do. All of this without ever making a phone call or leaving your car.

Pickles on Pizza Are Becoming a Thing

Some pizza chains out there believe it is a great idea to add pickles to their pizza. We don’t know how to feel about this. The idea is to have all the ingredients you would have in a burger, such as ground beef, cheddar cheese, ketchup, onions, mustard, and diced dill pickles. The pizza chain even suggests users spice things up with Sriracha drizzle and jalapenos. As for us over at Hungry Howie’s®, we like to keep our pizza pickles-free, please.

College Students Would Give Up Their Friends’ Email for Free Pizza

This old news is making a comeback, and apparently, a study determined that 98% of college students would give up their friend’s email for free pizza. We have to say we don’t blame them, but we also have to be the parents here and remind our younger pizza lovers that there are many other ways to get free pizza without having to expose your friend’s private information.

99-Cent Condiment Maker

A pizza chain in California started selling 99-cent small shakers of crushed red pepper and grated cheese. The pizza chain says the sale of condiments is simply a “test” and will look into rolling the test out to other locations in the future. According to the pizza chain, the condiment shakers are meant to help with cash-flow issues and restaurant profits. If you ask us, we’ll stay with our packets of condiments, free-of-charge. You’re welcome.
